Review-Who killed the electric car?
WALT: Describe how advancements in technology occur to meet a need or to solve a problem.
Q1: What does the use of the electric car solve?
There are chargers that you need to plug into the EV1 (electric car) to make the car go. Once the car is fully charged it can only travel 70-80km. So if your going on holiday you will have to charge the more than 2 times if you were traveling a long way, that would be a pain! But EV1 cars didn't let out gas and other air pollution that cause global warming. My point of view about the EV1 cars are much better than the cars we drive around these days because the pollution that come out of the cars are causing more global warming by the minute.
Q2: Who will benefit from the electric car?
The environment because the of the cars we drive today they let out fuels that we shouldn't be breathing or the living creatures around us. That's why some animals are getting extinct.
Q3: What problems are caused by the electric car?
If you keep an EV1 in your garage and you have got a battery charger in your garage, it uses more electricity so it will cost more, but you would save on petrol.
Q4: Write a one page review on-"Who killed the electric car"
I didn't really enjoy watching the movie because I found it boring, but I did learn some things.
I learnt that electric cars run on batteries and can only last for 70-80km. The electric is a lot better than the cars we drive now but they are expensive. The cars we have now caused global warming but the EV1 cars didn't.
If you need to travel around, to places or holiday your going to need to charge the car more than once through out the journey.
The cars we drive now can kill people, because they can get lung disease by the air pollution.
The EV1 car is faster and quieter than normal cars. An EV1 car cost the same as a normal car (gas car) In 1996 the first electric car was invented. In 1989 15-20 year olds had lung disease caused by the car we drive today.
